Line Dancing

The Hula Slide & La Cinturita are related line dances. Both have the same music, both are performed by Grandpa Crunk. Both have very similar steps with only a two step difference in the two dances. Do not attempt to use the Bi-lingual version of the song as dancers following the english directions and dancers following the spanish directions will collide when the steps diverge from each other.

There are so many sites providing the history of line dancing & soul line dancing. Without attempting to state which site or culture have the true roots of what has become called Line Dancing, I'll simply give you these two link as a starting place if you really want to learn about line dancing.
